About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Manager to play a pivotal role in helping organisations define, manage, and transform their security posture. This is a leadership opportunity to deliver high-quality security engagements, support business development, and guide clients through the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape.


You will be responsible for leading consulting projects, engaging with senior stakeholders, and mentoring junior professionals to build a high-performing team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality cybersecurity transformation programmes, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction.

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and offering practical, innovative solutions.

  • Support business development activities including proposals, bids, and presentations.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the UK and internationally to develop go-to-market strategies and client solutions.

  • Manage engagement delivery including financial oversight, resource allocation, and stakeholder reporting.

  • Lead, coach, and mentor junior team members, conducting performance reviews and supporting career development.

  • Contribute to the recruitment, retention, and professional growth of cybersecurity professionals.

Requirements

  • Professional experience delivering cybersecurity solutions in either consulting or operational roles.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.

  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas:


    • Identity & Access Management

    • Data Privacy & Protection

    • Security Architecture

    • Operational Technology Security

    • Governance, Risk & Compliance


  • Ability to work in fast-paced, unstructured environments with high commitment to problem-solving.





Desirable Experience & Qualifications

  • Security-related certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISMP, ISO27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, MBCI, IAPP).

  • Familiarity with frameworks such as NIS2, NIST CSF, or ISO27001.

  • Previous experience in a professional services or consulting environment.

  • Sector experience in Government, Energy & Utilities, Retail, Life Sciences, Technology, Media, or Transport.
