We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Life Sciences Patent Associate (Litigation focus) to join a prestigious global law firm in Boston. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with leading biotech and pharmaceutical companies on complex, high-stakes intellectual property matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop global patent portfolios for biotech and pharma clients

• Draft and prosecute patent applications in the life sciences field

• Conduct freedom-to-operate, patentability, and invalidity analyses

• Support IP due diligence for corporate transactions

• Assist with post-grant proceedings, IP counseling, and litigation matters

• Collaborate closely with partners and senior associates on cross-border cases

Candidate Profile:

• J.D. degree from a top-tier law school with outstanding academic credentials (GPA 3.5+)

• Background in Biology, Chemistry, or a related life sciences field (Ph.D. strongly preferred)

• 1–4 years’ experience at a top law firm or boutique IP firm

• Strong technical and analytical skills with ability to interpret complex scientific documents

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proactive, team-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
